Does anyone know if Arcania on GOG has the patches already applied ?

Sadly there is no official information about this, but I doubt it is patched... I installed the game and noticed that the main game file (Arcania.exe) is version "1.0.0.0" and modified in October 2010, when the game was released. A few patches were released after that date.

There are graphical glitches on characters' faces when "Detailed Faces" option is on. This is a widely reported bug and faces look pretty bland without this feature. The game also has microstutter, but the performance was improved after I turned on v-sync and multithreading from the NVIDIA control panel. I'm using GTX 970.

The above problems are also present in the current Steam version, but at least there is an option to use the "Legacy" version of the game (1.1.0.1433), which has better performance and no graphical glitches.

It goes without saying that the publisher should fix the game.
