I've tried via Galaxy and the offline installer. The game won't launch, I just get a black screen. If I alt-tab to windows there's a message saying compiling shaders will take a couple of minutes but the process goes into "not responding" state and waiting even 15 minutes does nothing.

I'm using Windows 7 on over 10 years old machine. I've tried running it in XP SP2, SP3 and Win7 compatibility modes.

Anything I can do?
