Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to disable weather effects such as rain (and sand wind in the desert). It was possible in Gothic 2 but I couldn't find any info if it is possible in Gothic 3. Maybe with a modification to the INI file.

Thanks.

After a quick research in the German Gothic forums (they are very active, since the Gothic series comes from Germany), I dare to say it is not possible to deactivate any weather effects, not even by tweaking the INI-file.

Thank you very much for taking your time to look for it :) I wish it was possible but I guess I will get used to it in time. Thanks again.
Disable weather in Gothic 3 is possible: You must use utilities G3PakDir.exe and G3Dir.exe - and from Library.pak archive delete file "WeatherStates.g3ws". Then weather (and sun) stops in the evening forever... (... and In Nordmar, will be fantastic view... :-D )

Good luck!
