I have been running Gothic 3 with no problems and have around 50 hours into the game. I haven't played in a few weeks and now suddenly the game will not start. It crashes at startup stating the following: "Gothic 3 engine fatal error. Gothic 3 requires at least a minimum video cart with MRT support".


If I change the .ini file to run in windowed mode it starts with no issue. Full screen seems to cause the crash. Video drivers update to the latest Nvidia release. Made no other changes to the system besides Windows 10 updates.

Any ideas?
