I'm unclear on whether this version requires the community patch or not. I have read in two places now that JoWood "incorporated the community patch" into an official patch. So, if GoG games are patched up (as they usually are) wouldn't that mean the community patch is already included??

Bottom line, do I need to install the game AND the community patch or will installing the game automatically install the community patch?
The version of Gothic 3 that's on GOG includes community patch 1.74. There's a more recent version of the community patch (1.75, information and downloads here) so you may want to install that if any of the differences between 1.74 and 1.75 are things that you want.
