So, I arleady tried everything i could find:
patch gothic2_fix-2.6.0.0-rev2
player kit
system pack 1.6 and 1.8
installed them in every order and combination possible
run in every compatibility mode possible
tried to run it on both integrated and nvidia card
And still nothing worked, game just doesnt launch, no error message
my specs
Intell i7 7000HQ
nVidia geforce gtx 1050
8 gb ram
and windows 10...
I would really appreciate any help
Run everything with admin

Start your task manager and look for the Gothic2.exe. If you find it there, perhaps as a child process of the Galaxy client, switch to tab Details. Rightclick on Gothic2.exe. => analyze queue. If it's waiting for a process, kill that one. Sometimes it's an LGS-App (e. g. logitech_discord.exe).

It's an issue that affects both games.
