I have been playing Gothic 2 and I am on my way to Valley of Mines. Went to load my save and its gone.

I have looked everywhere but can't find it, anyone help?

Do you have the GOG version installed? If so - have you looked in

" C:\Program Files\GOG.com\Gothic 2 Gold\Saves "

or if you're running windows UAC? ( user account control)

" C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\GOG.com\Gothic II Gold Edition\saves "

Thanks for your reply, looked in both locations, no save for Gothic 2 in either.

Any other suggestions?

Sorry, I haven't any more - but maybe someone else can lend a hand?

I've tried searching on the forums and haven't found anything that helps.
