I'm playing NOTR and have been finding the game the right amount of challenge for the most part. I find Piranha Bytes games to be more of a puzzle to solve rather than one to brute force through, and I generally only go down a path if I know I can quickly dispatch the monsters or there's a helper who will kill tougher enemies for me. In rare cases you can also run by enemies, and in fact the game tells you to do this at least once.

However, I've hit this part of the game and I'm at a loss. To get to Quarhodron's Tomb I need to go down a path in the valley to the west. However, there are 3 orcs guarding a bridge in a narrow passageway through the rocks. I'm nowhere near the point where I can kill 1 orc, much less 3.

There was one point (the two guys under the stone arch when you are looking for the rogue Novice) where I broke out a monster transformation scroll, but you could actually just walk past those guys. I suppose I could do that again, but this seems off to me.

So I'm very confused right now. Am I missing something?

EDIT: I figured it out. I looked off into the distance and realized there was an alternate entry into the valley. PB are just amazing.


EDIT2: Well crap, I'm stuck again. I'm supposed to go to the library of the scholars but it's teeming with orcs and there's an invisible fire lizard inside. I can't see any way around this besides simply guessing the question answers, but I have to go there eventually for the relic.
