In the jungle area of Jharkendar (South-ish), South of the Troll, there is an area which is a little difficult to get to because you have to jump from a high ledge to get there. There's a magic bow and some other stuff.

My question: Is it realistically possible to get back from this place?

I have no teleportation runes for Jharkendar (nor do I think there are any) and I've died about 10 times trying to jump back to the broken segment of the bridge on the other side.

This is ridiculous. What am I missing?
Nevermind. Made it across, but I had to do an angled propel jump where I get launched forward because of the timing of the jump...

Actually my question still stands: is there a good way of doing this?

The most "normal" way of doing this is transforming into a Scavenger/Wolf/Shadowbeast..., because they can jump quite far. But there are many other ways, for example forcing a golem to punch you back... :D

So acrobatics is in this game! I was not aware there was a hidden bonus at 90 Dexterity.

I can't remember who but someone can teach it before that if you want to spend the XP.

Nope, that is G1 - Buster. In G2 you learn it automatically.

Could have sworn someone in II offered too but I do get the games mixed up sometimes. I never really found it all that useful.

In Gothic 1 I'm too busy strafing in mid-air to worry about acrobatics. In Gothic 2 I'm too busy not being a Dex character to think about it.

I was wondering how to get this place today. Tried from mountains but there were no place from where to slide down without dying.

Thanks for the great tip of using transform spell, i'm heavy user of those spells, but didn't know that jump distances vary! Awesome! This game is so good :)
