I have editied several values in Gothic.ini, but none of them are working.

I tried looking around to fix it but the things I tried didn't work.

Please advise.

PROBLEM SOLVED! WEIRD AS FORK, man. Why hasn't anyone else had this problem? Why did it work at first? No idea times two.

the file you need to mess with is not the one in the gothic folder, but the one in the Users\(yourname)\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\GOG.com\Gothic 2 Gold\system folder. Darn compatibility stuff.
VirtualStore.

Thanks for this link, it solved my problem right away. I'm glad I took a break and just asked, lol.

I suggest you to install your games (particularly the older ones) outside any protected folder such as "Program Files".

Fascinating, to be honest I have almost never given it that much thought. I may do that from now on- thanks for this additional advice.
