The bugs, in the country side outside Xarda's castle, those flying ones on wings with black color, that seem to be a crossbreed between a large mosquito and a wasp... Does anyone knows what the hell the real, existing bug that became inspiration for this for the game, is called? One faqer of those stung me right now, the pain is intense, the sting was something like a triangle shaped sh*t but now nothing remained, i squashed it! I already applied medicinal paste over the wound after disinfectant.

Out of curiosity, how is this faqer called? Anyone know... Maybe a swamp kind of large mosquito (near here lots of stagnant and running dirty waters)?

P.S. the search about "bug resembling mosquito and wasp" yielded results that the bug showing in pics was neither black, nor of that anatomy...

Blood Flies. I suppose the mosquito is the inspiration possibly also dragon flies.
If it hurts, it isn't a mosquito of any kind. They're dependant on not causing pain, because they pierce you with their mouthparts to suck blood and that takes some time. Immediate pain is an insect with a sting and poison, so usually some kind of wasp, bee etc. Maybe it was a Carpenter bee, there are completely black sub species or some kind of scorpion wasp. They've got longer tails, more like the "Blood Flies" in Gothic.
Thanks. Thankfully, no complications like swelling or allergic reaction. And i am already highly tolerant against (natural) venom... But what the hell, damn, i really hate bugs, they are the most annoying thing ever created! And this time of the year, brrr...

It was identical to the Gothic 2 bugger though, i swear! If i hadn't squashed it, i would totally post a picture of it for the laughs.
