It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

It failed the integrity check the first time, so I uninstalled both the downloader and AIR, installed latest version, and downloaded Gothic 1 again.. Same issue, fails integrity check. I'm on a 768kb connection so it takes several hours to download each time. Please help!

My advice would be to just download it using your browser if thats possible, the downloader is still a bit buggy.
Trying with firefox right now, however that one's also not too good about restarting downloads when connections fail (and my connection is never very reliable.) Well worst come to worst, hope they don't mind at work if I make 900GB download to a flash drive...

Well you can use 3rd party downloaders like getright to download using your browser they can restore the download in one session. What they can't do is keep the download going over a couple of days because gog has something that stops anything but there downloader refreshing downloads after a certain amount of time.
Note that when using a download manager such as GetRight you can simply supply it with a new source URL to resume the download; your progress won't be lost. I use GetRight exclusively for GOG and I have never had any problems doing it this way. GetRight also won't end up creating corrupt files unless something major happens like GetRight crashing.
Ok, Firefox download worked, thanks!
