So I just bought the game and played about an hour in, saving about every 5-10 minutes. I went to go to sleep at a bed, changed my mind, and clicked end, and the entire game locked up.
So I thought no sweat I will just reload, I saved just a few minutes ago.
Well after closing and reopening the game, I opened my save file to find that it brought me back about 30 MINUTES from where I had gotten! I saved the game about 6-7 times after that point but its like the game decided not to register it or it deleted my saves for some reason...

Please help, is there something I can do to avoid this because I can't see playing hours into this game only to lose TONS of progress at random!

Are you playing in administrator mode? It's possible that it allows you to make new saves but doesn't let you overwrite them.

I am, admin mode and xp sp 3 compatibility. I have played for another hour with no more issues and been watching my saves like a hawk so hopefully it will just be a very odd and rare thing that happens.

If it happens again, please post back, maybe we'll figure it out. Though, to be honest I've never heard so far of this error.
