I have problem with learning one- and two-handed weapon skills.
I joined to the Old camp and learned there level 1 and 2 fighting skills for one and two handed weapons (My stats says 10% learned). I have helped Saturas in the New Camp and they kicked me out of the Old Camp. Saturas welcomed me to the New camp and now I should be able to learn fightiing skills from Lee and Cord but there's a problem. If I try to talk with Cord, there is only the END option in speaking dialog. If I ask from Lee what he can teach me, he says that he can teach me strength and dexterity. Still there is the text in General Information that I can learn those skills from Lee and Cord in the New Camp.
I have just finished the freemine quest with Gorn so, it would be nice to learn better fighting skills. Please help me, I don't know what to do!

the maximum level for all weapon skill is mastered(aka level 2). so yes, they could teach you fighting skills but you already know everything any npc could teach you.

the 10% stand for you're chance to do a critical hit(afair double damage).

Yes, this means you've mastered your skills. To further improve your combat effectiveness invest in more strength. Every point of strength counts towards your total damage (and is doubled when you score a critical hit). If you've already reached the maximum strength (100) you might want to start work on ranged weapons or something.

Note that training doesn't jump like this in Gothic II--instead you build your skills up bit by bit.
Thank you Kuchenschlachter and Arkose.
It's confusing that in Gothic 2 you can actually train your fighting skills to 100%. This is the first time I'm playing Gothic 1 so that's why I asked.
