i can see an object but no descrption and cant pick uo????

First, if the object is seen while you have a weapon drawn, that's what will happen. Hit the 1 or 2 Key to make whatever weapon you have drawn "holstered". Then face the object and approach it until the description pops up. Then use the appropriate keys to pick it up.

You need to hold the action key and then press the forward key. Mine are mapped to the way I play so I can't say what they are specifically for you.
