Hello!

I need help with the fire dragon. I'm chaptar 4, at 29 level. I have wepon with damage 100, I'm fire mage with armor - high robe. Beliar Clew is destroyed. I have 65 strength and 40 dexterity. I tried to kill the fire dragon with skeletons, but they quickly died. I tried and fire storm, fire ball, lighting and ice wave. I do not have much mana - about 140. I'm a fighter in one-handed and two-handed wepon. I tried to kill the creature with Biff, but he is not the most durable and quickly died too. I've already killed two dragons - the swamp and the ice. How to kill the fire dragon?

If it helps there is a fire ring in the old mine. I'm only in Ch 2 but it's proven to be somewhat helpfull so far.

The easiest would be to summon a demon. As far as i know it should be able to take out the dragon. With your strength you won't be able to do considerable damage.

How did you kill the ice dragon? It's actually a bit stronger than the fire dragon.

Well, I killed the ice dragon with Biff, one summon stone golem and one rain of fire. It wasn't so hard for me. Maybe the luck was with me.

And if you've got some money, you could buy a "Shrink monster" scroll, that should do the job...

I don't believe they work on the dragons.

I'm pretty sure they do.

Well, actually I was bought this Shrink Monster and now I can't find it anywhere. But the fire demon is working. The dragon die very fast.

Its been a while since I played II but I think there is a free one near the troll in the task done with Diego.

RE: use with dragons - its always possible I did something wrong but I tried shrink monster and other spells against the dragon and was dismayed that it didn't do anything (I was playing as a mage). I'll return to II someday - I'll retry shrink monster then - gotta see that itty-bitty dragon! Ended up using demons. BTW, skeletons are great for trolls.

Yes, Really I killed one or two trolls with skeletons. Only one skeleton and the beast is dead. Strange is it for me, because the skeleton wasn't dead, but the troll punched him many times.

I've always found the AI vs AI fights strange; they give little damage for the most part and take little - battles last forever. Sometimes I wish the nameless one could cook some popcorn for the long running show :). I'm playing III right now and a near naked slave armed with a shovel gets troll pounded multiple times with barely any damage but if I get pounded, even with my armor, I'm nearly dead. I thought the balancing in the 1.75 patch would fix that but, well, no.
