So after many years, going to return to Gothic 2. I've patched it as per both the PCGamingWiki page and this list:

All is relatively well, but I have a few queries.

1. In the first bandits' cave, the text popup for the bed and chest show, and their shadows, but not the bed or chest themselves! I'm wondering is this an issue with installing the GD3D11 normalmaps (steps 7 and 8).

My directory looks like this, does this look right?

2. Mouse look. I tried setting zMouseRotationScale to a higher value (16.0 in my case), but while at least mouse looks now still works, it's both laggy and has an initial "dead zone". I tried setting a per-game sensitivity setting in my Logitech Game Software (mouse is G502) and that was a bit better but the initial dead zone is still there (as in, you have to move the mouse a certain amount before there is any initial reaction). Any help appreciated.
