Runs fine under Vista64. I've never had an issue. I have it installed twice, one with, and one without NOTR. It's possible it's a copy protection issue for you (you may need to update the copy-protection software -- I know Gothic 3 uses Tages, but don't remember if G2 uses it), but I've used the nocd patches to play it. I've bought the game 3-4 times, just because it's my favorite game, and I'm always pleased as punch to see it on the store shelf.

The combat system is a bit simplisitc, but certainly not ''poor'' or ''random'' My only problem is that i never got the game to run under Vista, which is sad because I'd love to play it again!
