I'm trying to install the SystemPack on the GOG version of Gothic 2 Gold, but for some reason, I can't.
I use G2NoTR-SystemPack-1.1.exe, but when I have to point to the directory where Gothic 2 is installed, I can't select it. Does anyone knows how to get past this?

I did installed the PlayerKit. I didn't bother with the patch since I thought that the GOG version was patched already.

I see, well fix-2.6.0.0-rev2.exe seems to downgrade the game from 2.7 to 2.6 to be able to install mods it seems so reinstall the game and try again. : )

I just did this. For some reason, when GOG install is done, the executable is named Gothic.exe. You have to rename it Gothic2,exe for the various patch files to work. I'm not sure why this is.

Here's the solution, sorry if it comes late! you have to rename gothic.exe to gothic2.exe and the problem will be solved!

the mod install program is looking for a specific string and for some reason the application is not named properly.

I followed nicode's post from the thread: "Forced to install NoTR in G2?" (Here: https://www.gog.com/forum/gothic_series/forced_to_install_notr_in_g2/post17)

Then I installed "G2NoTR-SystemPack-1.7.exe" from WorldofPlayers

Make sure you place the "GothicStarter.exe" inside your "Gothic 2 Gold/system" folder. Run this, click on "Gothic II: Night of the Raven" and press "Play the Game"

The game started immediately for me after I followed these steps.
