I just reinstalled Gothic 2 and intalled the recommended System Pack and patches and then the Directx 11 mod. Everything works great and it looks wonderful, except I can't seem to get the game to run in fullscreen, meaning I don't have access to brightness and contrast. Is there a setting I'm overlooking?

So I figured it out. I had no idea the system pack came with a separate options screen, by pressing F11. Thanks anyway!
