For the people who couldn't stand the combat system:
You just need to figure out how it works. It's based on timing.
You click to swing only at the END of the current swing, otherwise
you interrupt your combos...
It's NOT a clickfest. Spend the 10 minutes to figure out the basics,
and then over time you'll get to the point where you can take down
an orc when you should be too low level to do so.
Hint: It involves stepping backwards at the right time.
This game is absolutely fantastic! It doesn't hold your hand.
The monsters don't level with you. They are always the same,
so while they may be way too tough (ie, you have to run like hell)
in the beginning, after cautiously growing in power, you'll be able
to take the tougher monsters on.
Also, look for IronKeep Studios "Heights of Power" mod. It removes
the grind from the game. When you've played the game through
many times, this is a welcome addition, although it does make the
best weapon in the game available far too early.
