I know the game is not a good Gothic BUT okayish for a rpg, the visual glitches are annoying in the 2.0.0.2 version, would be awesome if GOG provide the older version 1.1.0.1433 with some fixes

The only way to play Arcania today is on Steam with enabled beta "Legacy" and the ArcaniaSteamFix script from hexaae under Guides "Arcania framerate fixes and improvements"

GOG should give this game some love and work <3

I beg to differ - I'm playing the game now downloaded via the offline installers from GOG with no modifications whatsoever and it plays perfectly. I'm nearly at the end of the game and have had no issues whatsoever.

What visual glitches are you seeing?

Detailed faces are completely buggy(faces become green), rain puddles are broken(one solid paint color most of the time), moving the camera feel laggy (as if the game run at 30 fps), while on steam legacy version with fix it run like a dream as it supposed to be

Ah yes, I now remember turning off detailed faces in settings when I started the game (ages ago) as the shadows were all wrong - no green faces though - but it only happened in close up scenes I recall. Since turning that off I've not had any issues with glitching faces.

As for the puddles, you are right, the glitch is indeed there. I think I must just be used to it so don't notice it anymore.
