Using the F9 key to quicksave works fine, but when trying to load with the F10 key, the game complains that it cannot find the quicksave file and crashes.
Looking briefly at the game directory, it appears that the quicksave file gets created, but that the game can't seem to find it to load it. Of course, regular saves work fine, so this isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things.
And I downloaded a fresh copy of the installer yesterday, so I don't think that this has been fixed.
Anybody else?

Well, I do not use the Quick Save or Quick Load as I always seem to want to save in various locations and give different names to the saves (well at least a different ending number).
I find the load save is rather fast and once you use ti a little while it becomes second nature where if you are saving to the top most slot you do not even have to loo at it. IT all takes about 3-5 seconds.
I know this is not an answer, but at least it is a response! :o)

Yes, of course, but bouncing on the quicksave key is still helpful sometimes, though I do tend to use it too much. Like I said, it's not crucial, but I just wondered if anybody else got this bug.
How did you get quicksave in gothic 1 ? I try to press f9 and f10 and nothing works .
I also check in the internet and some people can use quicksave and some not - strange :/
I know there is a line to put in gothic.ini - but its only seem to work with gothic 2.
Sadly, the Gothic series has always suffered from an notoriously bugged Quick save/load feature. My advice is that you don't rely on it, at all.
Most quicksaves will often corrupt after some time, especially when your inventory contains a lot of different items.

Ah, interesting. I haven't been, fortunately.
EDIT: Maybe the fact that I used GothicMod for the FPS unlocker explains why I have access to a quicksave where others don't. Anyway, I'm satisfied. Just don't use the quicksave, got it.
