true, but it really doesn't add anything to the game except saying that you have classic gothic 2 instead of the current version. Game is pretty easy as it is, going back to the much easier classic version.. mmm don't see the need. As it is now, you can easily be a great warrior/archer/mage jack of all trades if you want, so you want classic gothic 2, to make it.. easier?

mage with 140+ dex, master rapier and top bow, 100% 1 hander skill, 400 mana and enough magic to laugh at anything in the game with summoned demons and chucking out fire rains.. Don't really need it easier.

You can use the "Gothic II Classic Mod". It isn't 100 % the classic edition but it is the best you can get until now.
