Renaming AVI worked fine for my XP system but when I tried to play it on my 8.1 it would lock up and require a reset.

disabling DEP and trying hundreds of different combos didn't help

My copy crashed so terribly, it wiped out my CMOS settings. I'm not taking any more chances with this game.
