# Goodbye Eternity 0.10.3 patch note
## Fixed
* Updated the version number (seriously Selenyhr...how could you forget to update it?!)
* Windowed mode will default at half its size on screens 1080p and below, to allow for the borders to display
* Some CGs did not display as intended during the game (for example, during Yasuka's love timelapse, the CG did not switch to Noriko behind the door)
* Backgrounds added with 0.10 can be unlocked in the gallery

* Music player in freeroam mode. Allows the player to choose what background music to play during the game
* Some musics will still play at certain points during the story, overriding this choice

* Asami's sprite was badly displayed in certain situations
* Crash when the game displayed a notification and the player was skipping text
* Crash when following Yasuka's love route, for her timelapse event
* Noriko's maledom route continuity issue, where time advanced at a wrong time
* Zoom effect on location change when using screen sizes different than 1080p
* Confirmation before quitting did not trigger
* Skip unseen preference did not work
* Quests could trigger at the wrong time in some situations
* Macumba no longer appears during morning before giving him the music player (other than his initial appearance)
* City map and some CGs will properly display on web build (a workaround while waiting for Godot 4.4 to fix issue godotengine/godot#95721)

* Long load time when accessing the city map, due to removing VRAM compression (see Godot bug godotengine/godot#95721)

## Major changes
A lot of internal reworks have been done to solve the crashing problems. As such, 0.9.1 and earlier saves will not be loaded by the new version.
The persistent file where gallery unlocks are stored is still working as intended.
To make up for the loss of save files, a new Chapter Start feature has been added, which allows the player to start at the beginning of each major chapter of the game.
You can choose what choices have been done before, and the new path is directly available. So unlike the previous Veteran Start, you can start straight from the newly-added chapter.

* 2 branches depending on Asami's relationship
* 23 animation variants (including 3 transitions)
* 6 CGs
* 20 CG variants
* 6 new locations
* 8 character sprites in various backgrounds
* A new BGM piece

* Can be turned down or off if it makes the device slower, by reducing particles in the preferences

* Will try to detect and correct cases where the player has advanced beyond the time of day where the storyline happens
