OK, I get it if you are trying to play on a laptop without a graphics card, but this game has amazing performance on even a 12 YO potato.. (i5, 980 Strix)

The developer releases new patches frequently, almost too frequently for those of us who start a new game with ever rellease.

The gameplay itself is solid, though I've found after fairly early on you should let everyone do whatever they want, 24/7. Only a few slackers need to be told to put in a day's work.

My only complaint is the incessant nagging. Usually, 2/3 or all of the settlers are non-white, which really breaks "immersion". If I were playing a period game set in Africa, I would expect whatever occasional whites are in the game to be colonial oppressors, which may or may not have been true, but it's at least a plausible take.

But when every settler in a game set in post-Black Death England is black? Sorry. Faerie tales. Not that it's hard to change that in the JSONs, but why should I need to? With a mostly plausible medieval game, why do I need to adjust for those whose feeling are hurt because muh divvrsity?

Sorry, rant over. This is a great game, and a great set of developers.

Why is it that the title is treated as badly as it is? As of this posting, there are exactly no postings in "Show your constructions." Discussion of content and strategy is non-existent. There are lots of titles where that happens. Why not here?
