So my understanding is I have to hold the ctrl button down throughout the entirety of this game (unless doing puzzles). Is there any way to just have the things the ctrl button highlights highlighted without having to hold the button? I don't understand why the creators didn't just have these things highlighted initially, if the first thing a player needs to do in each area is hold the button to highlight them.

Is there an ini file I could possibly edit to change this? or something? I understand having the highlights there constantly can break immersion, but so does having to hold a button down constantly.
