I played Gobliins 2 on the Amiga back in the day, which of course didn't have the voice acting that this version does. I was hoping that there's a way to turn it off and go back to the stylized babble, as I vastly prefer it. I realize this is nostalgia talking, but it sounds completely wrong to me.
I don't mind it in Gobliiins 3, as the non-talkie version is blatantly missing a ton of dialogue, but damn... I can't play Gobliins 2 like this.

Unfortunately, there's no way to do that in the CD version, since the relevant game scripts got completely changed (and not just a "if (cdversion) playspeech(); else playbabble();").

In the comments to the release announcement (on the front page) there are a lot of request for the "gibberish" version (the babble you refer to). Coala from the GOG team posted that they are working to add it. So let's keep fingers crossed :-)
Hah! I logged into the forums for the first time to actually ask this very question.
I used to own Gobliiins on the ST and was thrilled to find the PC version @ GOG.
However, I kinda missed the gibberish "bee-bi-bi-bee-bi-bo" from the ST/Amiga versions (you get hints of it in the PC version). I find the speech kinda ruins it a wee bit? :(
Please GOG, fix this! I want my gibberish! :D
But no really, I am buying the game only if it has gibberish talk too.
Pleased to see there is already a thread about this =)
The lack of goblin babble did make me a little sad.
I just bought the Gobliiins pack. Never played it before.
Down on the lower left in the first scene is a box into which I'm supposed to enter a code. How do I get the code? How do I get the characters to the diamond mine so the wizard will open the door?
Sorry, I dunno how to start a new topic.

1) You will be rewarded with the code after ending each stage (normally when you press the "GO" button).
2) To get to the diamond mine you need to have a special object (hint: check the loose horn)
Well now there's a way: get the new installer and you'll have the option to install the floppy version.
Aw man, these guys are awesome!
Yeah, that's a super effort on their part. Thanks a lot.
Only problem is that the PC version of 2 seems to have different (significantly worse in my opinion) music than the Amiga version does. But I guess that can't be helped.

Thank you for the floppy versions GOG! :)
I bought Gobliiins 4 with 1-3 pack bonus, is there a way to turn off voice acting there, or do I have to get floppy version of Gobliiins Pack from gog.com?

Yeah, that pack you got (Impulse?) is the CD version only. Only GOG includes the floppy version.
