Whenever I start the game I get this error before it errors out

Anyone ever get this error?

GOG support team is telling me this game is not compatible with Windows 7 but I have seen a few posts with others saying it is.

I was looking for a solution to this as well.

Runs for me very well. And I'm on Win7. Because I'm a power user, I may be able to help you, but before I do so, please tell me your computer configuration (GPU/CPU/RAM). I have an idea what can be wrong, but I need to see your config in order to be sure.

I also had the same problem but i changed the resolution on the computer to 1280 x 720 and the game worked perfectly. I guess you have to change the res every time before you start the game.

It actually is a resolution compatibility issue but it's easily fixed. Change your computer's resolution to 1280x720 then launch the game and it should work fine. Then go into the game settings and change the resolution to match whatever you normally run on your computer. Exit the game, change the computer resolution back to its normal value and relaunch the game. Should work fine.
