i loved giants when i was in high school. i loved the campaign. i loved the multiplayer, even though it was a small community. 8 years have gone by now, and i was thinking about the game the other day. i just quit playing WoW, and i was looking for another game to play now that wont take up as much time. this was a fun game when i was in high school but that was so long ago i dont know if im remembering so well.
i guess my question is, should i buy the game again? i have been looking around and people have talked about bugginess and whatnot, and given that im not a computer buff, im not cut out to be spending hours trying to install a game when im not sure its gonna happen.
i also wondered if it was even POSSIBLE to get a multiplayer game nowadays, thats a big factor in whether i wan to rebuy it. those old MvM games were awesome and i remember getting spanked by [NEO]Perfection for hours on end back in the day.
whatever, those are my questions

The game is not all that buggy for me, though there are some mods you should probably install to improve the overall quality of the game (see the Giants Mods sticky thread). Multiplayer is still supported through Gamespy Arcade, though it is unsurprisingly not very active (5 people playing right now). Additionally, I have read here about people using and [url=http://www.gameranger.com/]Game Ranger to set up multiplayer sessions, but I've never tried it myself. It should be relatively easy to get regular multiplayer sessions going within the GOG community. I imagine there are many people here who would like to get it going again.
All-in-all, I'd say it is easily worth a buy at only 6 bucks.
