This is a very weird problem. When I first ran Giants on this computer, it played smoothly. In subsequent runs, it's been lagging and skipping its framerate like crazy whenever I move the mouse or use the WSAD keys. I originally thought it was because of compatibility issues with the wireless mouse, but when I used the red mouse button in the middle of my laptop, it still acted this way. One time, it played smoothly when the wireless internet and the power were off, so I'm wondering if it's somehow linked with the battery power and the wireless. I've had games speed up and slow down due to the battery before, especially with Unreal engine games in my original XP (I still have a Windows XP, but newer by two years). Sometimes, wireless internet consumes a good deal of CPU, that it can interfere. I've tried this again, but it still very much lags. Other games lagged before, but I fixed that problem awhile ago. Most of my games now do run smoothly, but Giants is the only one with framerate issues. So I ask this: what is going on?
