I'm on the Delphi base-building mission, and I've built everything, including the Party House.

I've acquired the Tornado Spell, but when I use the "Activate Party House Item" key (Default X), it begins a countdown and then says LAUNCH, but then nothing happens?

I never had trouble using the Pop-Up bomb, but for some reason the Tornado Spell isn't working?

Am I not pressing the correct key, or is it a bug?

BTW, game is patched to 1.497 (v1.5), with Giants Hook installed.

EDIT: Nevermind, I restarted the whole mission and it worked.

This game is annoying enough without a quick-save, I don't need numerous bugs as well.

Not a bug. The tornado isn't a party house item, so pressing the party house item key won't work. The countdown and launch is for the sea monster, which is a party house item.
The way I've been doing it is to use the Party House item but pressing X, then using the Summon Tornado Spell.

That didn't work the first time, but after I restarted the mission it worked.

Anyway, just to clarify, you're saying I don't need to use the Party House item (Tornado), and simply only use the Summon Tornado Spell (I don't need a Smartie for this)?

And if that's so, what's the Pary House tornado item for?

Thanks for the reply.
Party house tornado? Don't recall one ever being there, perhaps one of the mods added it. Sea monster yes. The countdown is the amount of time you have to run from the impact zone...

The tornado spell usually goes like: stand in sight of the target area, aim at the location to use the spell, hit the spell use button for whatever slot the tornado is in, watch the carnage
Thanks for the reply.

I worked it out by replaying a base mission.

I only needed to use the Tornado Spell and not the Pary House item.

It's still weird that it didn't work the first time, yet I used the exact same procedure and it worked the second time.

Anyway, I get it now, I was confused because I thought it was the same procedure as the Pop-Up bomb, and that there's a Pary House Item called Tornado something, as well as the Tornado Spell..
I'm curious about how the Tornado spell works during real multiplayer games, balance-wise. Can every player restock on Tornado as often as they pass the Partyhouse? If so, wouldn't the games where everyone start out with the Partyhouse Tornado turn into mindless Tornado-spamfests, forcing you to come up with house rules prohibiting players from using Tornado as base defence or going through Portals to bring it to the enemy base?
