NedLand here,
Up until the Kabto storyline, Giants: Citizen Kabuto had been excellent. For some reason, whenever I try to load the Kabuto level, it claims that there is an error, and shuts down. An old DOS styled error screen appears and claims that it cannot load kstory because the game was trying to draw information from by computer, but was blocked, or something like that. I'm missing valuable data in my game, or is something else involved? Because up till now, it hasn't behaved like that before. I've even uninstalled it, installed it again, put in the all missions cheat, and it still won't let me play the Kabuto missions. What is wrong?
Just a thought, maybe if you run it as administrator (depending on your OS, of which you say nothing about, XP, Vista, 7?)

Or have you resolved this issue now? (how?) I have just begun this game so I haven't gotten as far yet.
I managed to solve it. Sorry for the trouble. What I had to do was click on no when I was asked to keep the save games when uninstalling then reinstalling Kabuto. I made the mistake of keeping the saved games, believing that my progress would be saved. It didn't. When I typed the all maps cheat, and attempted to play the Kabuto story, the error remained. So, I uninstalled it again, decided not to keep the saved games, reinstalled it again, then typed the all levels cheat, and I managed to play the Kabuto section perfectly.

I'm glad that I was able to finally play it, because the game was just steadily building up to the Kabuto story. I was disappointed with aspects of the last section and ending, but overall, it was worth it.
