Hi! Whenever I try to play Giants I can see the logos and the first loading screen but after that the image just dissapears, I can still hear the sound and navigate through the menu but I just see a dark screen.

This seems to be a common problem and I´ve already tried a few things: I replaced the "gg_dx7r" file with the one that GOG supports offers and this just caused the game to crash with a message error ("Giants error") so then I installed the 1.497 patch and now I´m back at the start: The game doesn´t crash anymore but I just see a black screen.

I suppose it´s related to my o.s. because in this very machine I used to play this game when I had "Windows XP" but now that I have Vista it just won´t work. I´ve also tried running the game as admin and in compatibility with XP and nothing works. Any idea of how can I get this to work? I really like this game and I´m dying to see Timmy again :D

Just in case it´s usefull I´m running the game on Vista, with 1014 MB of RAM, an Intel Core Duo (~1.9GHz) and a Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family graphic card with the drivers updated. I don´t have any of the updates for Vista though.
