I bought this a long time ago, even though the reviews were a bit hit and miss, and I never regretted it. The story line is really funny in a Monty Python style vein and the game is great, with all sorts of things to do, such as base-building and boat racing. You get to play three separate characters as the storyline unfolds, which adds a bit of variety to the game. I would recommend this in a shot!
