ssokolow: Therefore, just rename GSLauncher.exe to something else and run the GSGameExe of your choice directly and it'll kill off the nag screen because the game EXE can't find it. (I renamed it to GSConfigurator.exe so I could still use it to adjust things but I also confirmed that renaming it to GSLauncher.exe.off works too.)

...I'm glad I thought of trying that. I was just gearing up to write some kind of wrapper which would launch it, then lurk in wait for the nag window to show up.
Thanks so much, you made my day! I was so annoyed with this on my living room PC, having to switch from controller to mouse and back just for a pointless launch/quit screen.
Now the GOG version integrates seamlessly into Steam's Big Picture mode.
It's too old thread but I think it's fixed :D

I don't know about "fixed." I just played it a few hours ago. I think they just replaced the accusatory nag screen with an ad screen for GS:TD2, since that pops up every time I end the game.

I don't know it's same or not in Steam version but for me end of the base game it shows DLC AD , end of the DLC it shows base game AD . This is not a problem for me .

That's what I meant. Since it's a standalone, I thought it was more of a sequel/addon rather than DLC. But yeah, they just replaced one nag with another (especially since I already own both). It's only marginally less obnoxious.

As far as I remember, the Steam version shows no ads
Write a little AutoIt script that starts the game, waits for the annoying window, closes it, leaves.

However DRM are unacceptable, annoying windows still are. It is like when you buy a DVD and you have to watch a "pirates are crimal scene..."
