ssokolow: Therefore, just rename
GSLauncher.exe to something else and run the GSGameExe of your choice directly and it'll kill off the nag screen because the game EXE can't find it. (I renamed it to
GSConfigurator.exe so I could still use it to adjust things but I also confirmed that renaming it to
GSLauncher.exe.off works too.)
...I'm glad I thought of trying that. I was just gearing up to write some kind of wrapper which would launch it, then lurk in wait for the nag window to show up.
Thanks so much, you made my day! I was so annoyed with this on my living room PC, having to switch from controller to mouse and back just for a pointless launch/quit screen.
Now the GOG version integrates seamlessly into Steam's Big Picture mode.
