I've just noticed on Steam that Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams now has a "remixed" mode which makes the game easier, but I've not seen any updates for the game on GOG. Has there been any mention of whether it is coming to GOG?
Apologies for the double post...

But they've said it's coming in a month's time. Even though it's on Steam right now. Well, sod 'em.
Yep, unfortunately the developers went for steam-first. I'm a backer and even we didn't get the new mode yet (think we will get it around the same time as GOG).

I don't really need it as I don't think the game is very hard (except for the last boss), but it would've been nice to treat all customers more or less the same (wouldn't mind some days, but several weeks or a month is definitely is too much).

From the steam forums there looks to be a major bug in the new patch anyway.

According to Twitter, they've said it's for budget reasons, etc. They also compared creating patches for Steam, GOG, etc. as being like porting to Linux and Mac, which is rather worrying.

In reality, I think it's because Steam dangled a carrot via trading cards and they wanted to push that patch first to hit the biggest market and get some money via the trading card system.

There will be an drm-free patch in 3-4 weeks they say, I hope we get it within the next 6 weeks.

Greets!

Hey, but us bckers did get the updates asking us to back their new project ;) :P

Yes, the project that was dead, before it was even born. What the hell were they thinking when they asked for $500 000 for a co-op-multiplayer shooter (when they even had problems to get the $125 000 they asked for Giana Sisters)?

Think some guys got a little megalomaniac...

And Giana sisters was a quite well-known retro-franchise!
Ravensdale only had been... a canceled, but very good-looking RPG-Project...
500.000$, I cannot understand it...
So..., it's definitely been a month, and then some, any word on when we finally get the patch?

As soon as we get it, we'll get it to you ASAP :)
Oh, I'm not blaming GOG at all, haha. You guys have always been incredibly quick with this kind of stuff on your end, there's a reason I've been a loyal customer since the beta. :)

I know :).
Indeed, this is getting a bit ridiculous now.

You pre-order a game to show support, buy the OST and then get shafted over a patch because the devs are utterly useless. Brilliant.

Guess how some of us Kickstarter backers feel.
