A Halloween update was added to the steam version. Will the GOG version get it? Did the GOG version get the easy mode yet?

This is the news message from Steam:

"Halloween Special 2013
This Halloween Black Forest Games once again revisits one of the levels from Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams.

Experience 2.5D platforming madness, owls and pumpkins.

Normal and Hard difficulty Halloween-levels are accessible from the start.
You can select these levels under “Extras” in the main menu.

News about the drm free remix mode?

It is admirable that BFG is still providing the game with new content - especially when it's for free. We need more developers like CDPR, Valve and BFG. But it's definitely not ok to simply ignore the backers and the DRM-free users. One simple statement that the content will be delayed would be enough. That is the only thing I ask for. :)

EDIT: The remixed mode (Patch 1.12) is now available on GOG. :) However the new Halloween Update is still missing.

More devs like CDPR, Level Up Labs, Klei, etc., and less like Valve and BFG. Valve don't understand what scheduling is (and have fallen in love with microtransactions, with TF2 and DotA2 reliant on them, and Portal 2 having them - not to mention their other recent games), BFG have poor communications and have screwed over what may have been their most loyal fanbase on more than one occasion.

The patch finally coming doesn't erase any of the issues from the past.

first late patches for rott2013 and now a missing dlc which all other users already have.

Not all users. Anyone who bought it anywhere but steam (GOG, Amazon, GamersGate, whatever... probably physical copies), is in this situation. Gog users are actually better off than those others, because we at least get the late support. Last I remember, customers from other services/stores do ot even get that.
So yes. second class users, but there are third class users as well :P

Ehh.. I still haven't completed the base game but I remember seeing a "Halloween special" in the "Extras" menu. Is it the same thing? I bought the game from the Insomnia sale and downloaded right away. I could check it out once I get home.

No, as far as I know they already added some special halloween and christmas bonus levels in past updates. The newest update with the bonus level for halloween 2013 however is still missing. :(

As long as BFG doesn't release the update for us GOG users I won't buy the new DLC. Again: Although I understand that BFG is a very small developer in comparison it's unaccaptable to not even inform their fans who bought the game elsewhere than on Steam what's taking them so long.
