I accidentally held the "Enter" key while an Explorer window was open and the "Launch Ghostrunner" shortcut was selected. It looks like it tried to open dozens or hundreds of copies of the game, judging by the noises and a glimpse I had of the "alt-tab" screen before it completely locked up.

Of course the error was me holding the Enter key, but the game also apparently didn't check whether it was already running.
