Ghost Recon! This is great news for me. I was just about to purchase this on Steam. I'd much rather wait for the GOG version.
It would be even better if it would include the 2 expansions Desert Siege & Island Thunder. Both were bundled in the Gold Edition, I think it was called.

I don't think they are included mainly because it doesn't say so in the game's page and because it doesn't say gold edition. Will GOG start selling the expansions as well?

There's still an active mod and mapping community working on it, too.

Yeah. One of the GR fansites released a DVD a few months ago that has most GR mods on it, for quite cheap.

That's kind of a ripoff that its $10 and neither of them have the expansions included.
Looks like all of Ubisoft's games are at $10...

I'd be happy to pay GOG separately for the expansions (because I think this game is worth it) but now that we're all asking for it maybe they will go after the Gold version.

Actually, it's a set of 4 DVD's...one for mods, one for campaigns, one for new skins and graphics...I don't remember what the 4th is for. Anyway, that's there for anyone who doesn't have broadband (they can download it all for free).

This is great for me too. If it weren't for this, I would have to purchase it for $40 on gamecube :\

Absolutely. Its multiplayer is arguably the best part, and a lot of people still play it on GameRanger.

did u know u can unit switch? and you can take a squad of 6 into ur SP missions? unlike the new GRAW's where you get just one soldier to control and a squad of 4 including urself!
