When I change gamepad type in setting to xbox, camera rotates wildly., but when I change it to somethign else, Im lost. Cant open my inventory with gamepad, cant hide and cant attack.

Sometimes we found that other devices can be detected and modif inputs.
Maybe try removing other controllers, tablets, joysticks, for example.

well, the built in XInout compatible gamepad of my Ayaneo Slide won't work.

reconnecting is not an option, since it's built in.

I guess we won't see a fix for this.
