Why they ruin this amazing game thats like ending!

I didn't think it was a bad ending. I pretty much knew that Tilo was not going to find Merra. This is pretty much evident earlier in the game when you talk with the two mice prisoners on the boat.

Not sure what the intention of the developer is but it seems he was setting up a sequel in the last 1/4 of the game. Overall, it took me about 16 hours to beat the game and this was a lot of entertainment for my $25. Is the game perfect, no. However, it is really good and after the last few patches, it is solid. Amazing that an essentially one-man team could put out a game of this caliber.

I think he has in mind the final 'fight' mechanics, not the plot. I assume that from the stressful argument
