Ok, to start off with, I am horrible about remembering names of characters and spells, so this is about that asshole doctor that we have to get down into the morgue and be confronted by his... ex-fiance? We know he cheated on her because he sleeps with anything with a dress. ANYWAY... It is taking me forever to get him to see her. I know I have to get rid of the forensics doctor so she does not get in his way to enter the morgue. At this point, the ghost busters show up, so I gotta deal with them. They are actually pretty easy to deal with. By the time I get them out, I have enough power to wake up the sleeping soldier. He is no biggy. I know how to deal with the rabbit doll, so I have no problem taking care of that fairly rapidly. But the doctor just won't cooperate. I mean I get him all the way into the morgue with the gates by the cop and the eyeball/brain and with fool's task (or what ever it is) from the ghost. But time after time, he just won't respond to her. Do I have to get his fear up to a specific # before he notices her? Get rid of X # of nurses that he makes out with? I would have the cop use obsession on him (or what ever it is called), but his head NEVER glows red, like the rest of the people in the hospital. I mean, it took me 1 hour and 15 minutes to finish the task last time I did this (which was my first time with the GOG version of the game... I like this very much. It is smoother than past versions). And, by the time I had finally gotten him to see his Ex, I already had the other two ghosts in pocket and over half the staff scared from the building (I had to tone it down just enough so I didn't scare him off before the bride kicked his ass).

In the end, the question is, 1) which spell is the most effective for her to have him notice her? 2) do I need to get his fear up to a certain level, and if so, what? 3) do I need to get rid of a number of his lovers, and if so, how many? 4) is there something I am not thinking of which would make things go more smoothly?

I don't think you should get rid of the forensic doc. As I remember, your goal is to have him try a pass on her in front of the ghost Which is not easy, since she is the most unromantic woman of the entire hospital, and he won't settle for her if his other girlfriends are still around. So you have either to get rid of the nurses, or trying to lure him in the basement might have him take interest in her.

But yeah, this task is one of the most frustrating of the game (especially since the guy is a big chicken, and I have often had him flee because of the ghosts sent to deal with the ghostbusters or the nurses). I had to restart this level 5 or 6 times to do it the first time around -.-

He is supposed to hit on her? I thought I was supposed to get rid of her so he would walk all the way in, like that one officer you have to get rid of so the detective goes in to take the money and show his corruption. TY. I will do what I can to make sure he hits on her.

I know it's quite late to post this, but there's actually an easy way to get the doctor to go to the morgue: free every other ghost in the level, then bench everyone and simply use Fool's Errand on the doctor.
He'll run to the morgue, and the last ghost can be freed.

the trick that i use is to first scare away the ghostbreakers, then scare away the nurses. it have never failed me.
