No updates for a year, minimum.
Every other seller, besides EPIC, has to make due with versions that are at least ONE YEAR old.

A refund request is being submitted.

Um... not according to the press release:
Steam/GOG release

The Deluxe Edition release on Steam will include a couple of additions, these are:

Artbook.
Soundtrack.
Rocket Star Corporation DLC.

These additions will be coming to Epic Games Store at a later date.

I was wondering why I didnt remember anything about this title, even when it's right down my alley. Now I know why I have Team17 ignored on Steam.
And I was just making a purchase on GOG to celebrate their new refund policy, thanks to that now I can consider them first whenever I'm looking for a game.

I have the GOG version and it has all the features in the latest patch notes. It has the Rocket Star corporation DLC, it has the higher robot population cap, etc.

Who told you the GOG version had to be a year out of date?

I think the Epic store exclusive is already past, otherwise it wouldn't be on GoG?
