I am trying to install the Gog Galaxy client; but somehow it stops at around 85% and everything freezes.
Does somoeone has an answer for this ?

Hello ! You're in the french part of the GOG forum, but that's fine. Yes, sometimes the download gets stuck for some reasons, like server issues (busy) or maybe your Galaxy isn't updated properly.
Sometimes it can the some apps in the background that cause issues.

Once, I had to re-install Galaxy and that fixes all my problems.
