You messes up GOG Galaxy dear CDPR. Test your updates before you release them. Update failed first time, errors afterwards. Uninstalled, downloaded installer, installed and now it is hogging my SSD to 100% while continuously trying to update even if I have the latest version. How can you release crap like this to the public? No QA testing at all?
Right. I have read here that trying to download galaxy manualy right now may result in being unable to start galaxy at all. So I don't mind that every time I start galaxy, I have to wait till it says it cannot upgrade, then start again, then click "upgrade later". The alternative being "Essential components needed to start GOG Galaxy are missing ", judging from I have read here.
But still, cd projekt, shame on you. Are you not testing your patches at all?
Downgrade to 2.0.55.99 until they sort out this mess.
This is still not solved. Every time I start galaxy it is giving me an error. Recently there is blue strip at the bottom of the screen, saying that gog galaxy couldnt update (seriously?) and I "need" to instal manually.
No way in hell I am going to bother with it. It would probably crash the windows anyway.

Leszek38: gog galaxy couldnt update (seriously?) and I "need" to instal manually.
They introduced a bug in the auto-update feature in previous versions. It's been fixed, but you need to manually run setup_galaxy_2.0.60.2.exe to update to the fixed version.

The mess I was referring to earlier was the constant crashing of GalaxyClientService.exe. This has been fixed as well.
I don't trust them. Is there a way to stop galaxy checking for the updates instead?
