I'm having this problem where I can link my xbox live account with galaxy, but all it's saying is offline retry in place of the connected thingy.

I am having the same exact issue
an MS/live account alone is not enough,
log in with a browser on the xbox live website, it will set your ingame handle, and complete the account, after that the gog login will work with a live account

It´s still not working for me. I´m even using the Xbox game pass on my PC to play games, but GOG doesn´t detect it D:
It doesn't work for me either. I have done it over a period of a few months but I have tried: Different GOG Accounts; Different Microsoft Accounts; Resinstalled GOG Galaxy; Reinstalled WIndows; Wiped all the files from my computer.

None of these thingss have affected it and i am still unable to launch damn sea of thieves from GOG.

I thought that since I have never owned an xbox that could be the issue but I have seen other people be able to link their xbox live PC with GOG

I´m able to integrate my old Xbox Live acc in GoG but i cant use that one on my PC...
I also never owned an Xbox and both of my accounts were never connected to one either.
The only difference between the two is that i have the Minecraft Windwos 10 Edition on my old acc and the Gamepass on my new one.
Maybe the fact that i never bought a game on my new acc is the problem, but i bought the gamepass on it, so it´s not like i never made a purchase with it.
I have bought sea of thieves through the microsoft store on my account and it still won't connect. I think you must have an xbox for it to link

Has anyone figured out an actual fix for this?? Experiencing the same issue, says "Offline Retry" but when I select "Retry" it has me log into my MS Live account and then the cycle repeats. I've confirmed my log in info is correct, have had my MS Live account open in a browser window while attempting to connect.

Have also tried while not logged in via a browser. My Xbox is sitting underneath my computer, have attempted connecting while it was turned on, same cycle of "Offline Retry" and re-logging in.

Not yet, I assume it's a rare issue as CDPR haven't ever posted about this
I can't integrate my account of the xbox live to. Only one other account.

Seeing multiple year old posts in regards to this issue but no fixes. Bummer, time is running out to take advantage of the free Witcher 3 PC version. Oh well.
I have actually got my account to work, I went into my xbox live settings and just enabled practically every setting on, I'm not sure which setting specifically did it. But I would recommend checking xbox live settings and enabling each service one at a time until you find the one that makes it work
I found a solution! You need to set your birthdate in your microsoft account so that you are older then 18. Otherwise, some privacy setting kicks in and blocks it from connecting.
The problem is, you probably have a Microsoft Store account but not Xbox Live account. Go create one Xbox Live account in the account management of Microsoft Store......... I fixed it that way
