I've been a GoG user for years now starting back in 2017 and I love this client and the games they get; love they are mostly DRM free and their client is one of the best in the market due to its integration functionality. So, was a bit disappointed when I opened my client to see this stupid Subscriptions Tab being forced on my game panel and I cannot remove it, it lists games that do not even require a subscription and won't list the only game I do subscribe to making the entire tab 'pointless' and has me scratching my head WHY?
First of all, who has more than 4 game subscriptions anyway at any given time unless you're a game reviewer or content creator or even finding the time to play more than 4 subbed games would be an even bigger issue. So with that said why would you even need this tab to show in the first place a simple watermark over the game when you hover mouse over it would surfice instead of making a forced annoying tab we cannot turn off

1st well done for adding a photo, until i looked at that i had zero clue what you were talking about so let me start by showing you mine

2nd to anser why is it there = becaue you linked it to Galaxy... thats it, you added it so Gog shows you that its there

3rd you can indeed turn it off by unlinking those games... you could also just hide the tab or the any of the actual games so they don't show

a few extra examples of how to use Galaxy
1 first i linked my Origin games just to show the tab adds them to my games tab on the left [see Galaxy orgin]
2 then i don't want them actually unlinked from gog but just hidden from the game tab so i 'unlink' them in the main tab... removing them from the left tab but still keeping them tracked [see unlink]

3 lastly i changed my mind and want them back in the left game tab so i goto my owned games , main tab and 'filter' (orgin in this example) to show them and reclick the tag to add them back to the left game tab [see relink]

Are you actually understanding what I'm on about its forced Cloud subscriptions? What you're showing me is how to add other game clients to the tabs section, which I know how to do. You're not even on the same subject I'm actually referring to whatsoever. You seriously cannot understand the picture I put up? "1st well done for adding a photo" and do not condescend me or talk down to me thank you, then you obviously have absolutely 'no idea' of what I am referring to so why even comment?

The cloud 'Subscriptions' tab is not something I can get rid of at all whatsoever and why would I want to remove the entire client link just to get rid of 4 subscription games that aren't subscriptions in the first place, ffs I don't even own Hogwarts Legacy or the mobile game Descenders as I do not have a phone that can play it, just a cheap phone but clearly the subscriptions tab reckons I do. Now this Tab wasn't there last week so this is a stupid new feature they have added that is 100% pointless, it just annoys me that it has 4 games there and I cannot get rid of it; period/full stop.

yes the subscription tab can be removed from Galaxy with or without removing the games themselves... you can click on 'owned games' then filter under 'status' and then 'subscriptions' to see which ones are in that category

no gog is not forcing you to do anything... they show as subscriptions because you added them to your account as subscriptions somewhere in the past

Sorry but they do not I have unchecked them all and it still shows up and now they've taken away the GoG tab but left the subscriptions tab, so now I have no idea what games I got on GoG now unless I check my game purchase history. So yes, this is being 'forced on me' when I cannot get rid of the tab what so ever and they disable the GoG tab tells me they really do not have smart people working in their client development team
