Nothing is working with this "amazing" app, starting off with installing it gets stuck at "configuration".

No, I'm not impatient, I left it in the background and installation process didn't finish in 6 hours. When I close it through task manager strangely gog seems to be installed, but I can only open it while my pc is running in the same session when gog was installed, When I shut my pc off and get on in next day gog just won't launch, process is visible in task manager but the app itself won't start no matter what.

How can this issue be still around, googling this problem shows topics from like 3 years ago, im glad that im using this only for free prime gaming games, I would lose my shit if I paid for any game and had to reinstall gog everytime I want to play that game...
